Love and wisdom are such fundamental aspects of the creation that each is accorded an entire density of experience to allow for the evolving creature to perfect its reflection of this facet of the Creator. In the sixth density the two dimensions must be brought into a state of balance with one another. Even in the third density, however, issues of balance arise. Q’uo here responds to our query concerning the issues and complications that arise in this process.
In this session from the Other Selves Working Group’s first channeling intensive, those of Q'uo explore the conditions of sorrow that so frequently transform the natural empathy we feel towards our other selves into a self-protective aversion. The work of accepting and balancing heartache felt by another lies in our willingness to feel those emotions along with them, alleviating the loneliness of sorrow in the other and obtaining on both parties' behalf a new perspective on this experience that teaches the Creator so much. We may convey our balance to those suffering just as their imbalance is felt by us, transmuting the experience so that no part of the Creator is left behind.
In this session from the Other Selves Working Group's first channeling intensive, Q'uo elaborates on functional characteristics involved in three of the seven classifications used to study the archetypal mind. The significator provides a unifying concept of selfhood that derives elaboration from the mutual reinforcement of matrix and potentiator, variously synthesizing the activity/passivity and generation/reception dynamics that accrue from their respective masculine or feminine correspondences. In their answers to questions, Q'uo briefly touches on the choice archetype's relationship to the significator, and finally they establish the primacy of free will relative to the archetypal mind, suggesting a mysterious, macrocosmic superstructure governing octaval evolution.
In this session from the Other Selves Working Group's first channeling intensive in Colorado Springs, Q’uo lays the groundwork for social dynamics that span from the one-on-one relationship to the large institution, showing how these different scales of association allow for the issue of energies that allow us to work with the lessons of the yellow ray center. Conflict, humiliation, and frustration are far from errant experiences -- they are the means by which we learn the path towards social memory. If we can make our expectations within our groups plain, both to ourselves and to our other selves, we can set an example of the vast potential available to the group when each individual heart is opened and made vulnerable.
In this session from the Other Selves Working Group's first channeling intensive in Colorado Springs, Q’uo discusses humility, starting with comparing our condition to that of the second density sapling vulnerably striving towards the light without self-consciousness. Q’uo then ties in false humility, arrogance, acceptance of self, protection, specialization, and authority to explore the experiences that we encounter as we hone the personality shells that third density provides us. Given the service we expect to perform, Q’uo suggests we seek to share the burden and comfort one another, recognizing we all started out as more naive and less wise than we are now.
In this final session from the Other Selves Working Group's first channeling intensive, Q'uo counsels the channeling circle on their commitment to ongoing, remote spiritual work upon returning home. They urge the group to discover a balance between the daily duties of life and the responsibility of serving as channels, commenting on the importance of accountability and clear communication. Catalyst may be increased in the group's personal lives, but with that challenge comes additional resources arising from the dedication to the spiritual path. Q'uo finishes by answering questions on despair and healing, concerns about financing the group's effort, and the advisability of practicing channeling at home.

In this session from the Richmond Meditation Circle, Q'uo addresses issues arising from acceptance of struggles in life. We learn most from our attempts to overcome and oppose obstacles, because this effort exposes clues about our deeper identities. The fruition of our incarnational work lies in the patient, gradual acceptance of that which we once sought to overcome, building the faith in us necessary to approach fourth density. Preparing ourselves for service through meditation, we learn to abide in this process, comforting and nurturing ourselves and other selves along the way.
In this session those of Q'uo engage in a broad discussion of the purpose, nature, and ramifications of the Transformation of Mind archetype. Because the theme of the archetype's tarot image involves choosing merely one kind of relationship to the self and deep mind over the other kind, Q'uo reminds us that letting go of the unchosen is an important part of transformation. We are advised to have compassion for ourselves in this pregnant state of change, as the fear attending transformation redounds to the depths of the contingency entailed in spiritual evolution. Both paths lead not only back to the Creator but also each teach as old patterns are balanced, and it is in the caring for the fragile third density self through the growth pains and alien feelings of transformation that we more completely integrate ourselves to be full participants in the next stage of evolution.
In this session Q’uo speaks to the process and the tribulations involved in the task that increasingly becomes central to the aspiring adept: the work of disciplining the emotions. Stress is laid upon the need to integrate work in the daily life with that work which is done in meditation. Q’uo develops in some detail the exigencies of daily work, showing how this fits in with our interactions with other selves. And the point is made that these interactions will not always be sweet and harmonious, even when there is a prevailing intent to make them so. Finally, attention is given to how the harvest of the work done in daily life can be brought into the more focused workings of the meditative situation.
In this first session from the second OSWG channeling intensive, Q’uo offers details about the different kinds of entities one might channel and how to appropriately protect oneself in doing so. They begin by articulating the inner planes/outer planes distinction and why it makes a difference in channeling. The rule of three helps anchor the wavelength when it is projected into the outer realms where there is less natural protection. The existence of entities who would want to redirect communication to their own ends is what makes tuning and protection necessary. Throughout this message, Q’uo is careful to attend to the special relationship the higher self has to the self, in both its limitations and its protections. They dwell on the number three: it is an auspicious and nonarbitrary number; however, the higher the number of aligned seekers, the greater the protection. Q’uo closes with a reminder that the circle of seeking is not limited to the space and time in which channeling occurs.
Q'uo describes the nature of group minds, focusing on their similarities to and differences from individual minds. They then introduce thought-forms as a means of communication between minds, whether group or individual. Thought-forms, Q’uo reminds us, are not always consciously or even coherently assembled. But when they are consciously formed by a polarized entity, they will have different features and target different realms of activity depending on which polarity produces them.
This session features Q'uo discussing the concept of self-consciousness and how it serves the Creator's evolutionary mission. There is a quantum leap in awareness demarcated by the second density entity's discovery of the possibility of stepping outside its feedback loop between mind and body. This new position recapitulates the initial stages of the Creation's articulation through the octaves, making possible the Choice that assembles the metaphysical power necessary to reach back to the Creator through the infinite medium of an emerging spirit complex. Finally, Q'uo frames this polarity of service-to-self and service-to-others as itself issuing from the development of the more primitive mover/moved polarity with which spirit initially engaged the creation. Through extending its feedback mechanism to the spirit complex, the self-aware entity grows to be an instrument of spirit, indirectly plumbing the mysteries of separation and the finite as an ever-unfolding discovery of its one infinite source.
In the final session of OSWG’s second channeling intensive, Q’uo explains the relationship between the concepts of respect and green ray love. They begin by defining respect as according dignity to another as an equal part of the Creator. They then characterize green ray love as seeing yourself and the other as part of the same whole, which requires that one first respects the other. Q’uo considers the situation of opening the heart to another who cannot return the act, as well as the situation in which mated entities struggle to maintain an open-hearted connection.
In this session, Q’uo gives a detailed account of the elements and issues affecting the dynamics of communication across the veil. This relates both to the intricacies of the inner planes and those of the outer planes, to the extent that either of these locales are implicated in the type of contact that is sought. The nuances of meaning associated with the positive and negative paths are explored, as is the role of time/space in serving as a vehicle for the perpetuation and enhancement of the qualitative characteristics associated with each path.
In this session, Q’uo addresses the problem of the stubborn persistence of certain wounded affects, in this case, those of disappointment and resentment. An attempt is made to uncover the structure of the psyche such that these issues could pose such a great difficulty for those who seek to heal and to become whole. While those of Q’uo do not feel it possible to give a complete answer in the form of a formula for overcoming these wounds, a few gentle suggestions about how one might address the condition are offered.
Those of Q’uo discuss several aspects of third density systems of manipulation and domination that we experience in our individual lives, making key connections and distinctions between the single self and the collective nature of participation in these systems. Liberation is discussed in a variety of senses: as a surrender to the rightness of our catalyst and the salutary nature of manifestation, as a project of the self freeing itself and reaching back to others, and as a communal project that seeks to subvert the control of individuals with coordinated self-expression. While Q’uo refuses to direct our outward expressions of emancipation, they do offer several thoughts on how to identify the liberatory project in our service and conduct.
In this session Q’uo addresses the despair and confusion that longtime seekers often encounter on their path. Pursuing a polarity does not mitigate against these feelings as catalysis and transformation work upon us. Q’uo encourages us to develop a relationship with pain that does not deny its sting while also learning how to ask for the help and faith to endure. As always, seeking a larger perspective in the present moment is a great aid in our desire to serve others and build our spiritual strength upon this love.
This evening session features those of Q’uo discussing the pitfalls of channeling with a special focus on channeling instruction. They catalog several ways in which instruments can lose their tuning and protection, and the danger of this recklessness is magnified in teachers. We hold a responsibility to ourselves, to other selves, to students, and to the Creator to be fastidious in our channeling conduct, and this requires care in whom we choose to teach to channel.It is in the daily life that we can do the least exotic and most grounding work in recognizing and promoting that vibration we seek in our service as instruments.
Q’uo here explores the way that the complexity of spirit arises from the initial complexity of mind, as a result of points of contact between the two dimensions of self. The specific role of the veil is discussed, and the sense in which that catalyst which is unused by mind tends to seep through, as an undigested remainder, into the spirit, creating residues that contribute to the complexification. These, in part, seed the tendency of the spirit complex to be experienced as a dark and dangerous place.
In this session, those of Q’uo address the nature of mind and its relation to the body. They discuss the grounding of mind in love and how its fluid nature relates to manifestation and embodiment. Some hints are also offered about how the body relates mind back to itself. Towards the end, Q’uo answers a question on the “tree of mind” metaphor as viewed from the body complex.
In this final session from the Other Selves Working Group’s third channeling intensive, those of Q’uo discuss the diverse circumstances in which an entity can suffer from feeling overwhelmed or flooded. Organizing these instances by their temporal orientation, Q’uo catalogs several energetic, catalytic, and emotional components that come into various levels of play in each type of overwhelm. Q’uo offers some general tips on balancing these feelings and relating to the pain and fear they can instigate, closing with a general message of encouragement for the instruments.
Q’uo here speaks, initially, to the broad problem of becoming an incarnatively created self, prior to turning to the question of the higher self proper. The focus is on the way in which the higher self may be of service in aiding the development of the self as it reaches the stage of evolution in which the spirit complex becomes a dynamic variable in its process. Finally, Q’uo speaks to the differences between the two polarities, positive and negative, with respect to the manner in which guidance of the evolution of self-hood is effectuated.
Those of Q'uo tackle the concept of calling in this short session, specifically how it relates to service. Calling is a reciprocal phenomenon to service that highlights the interrelated nature of the creation, and calling is as necessary as service. Because those of Q'uo seek to serve in the positive polarity, they describe some of their concerns about answering callings and how they might approach them in a spirit of respecting free will and the capacity of third density consciousness. Some guidance is also provided on how to think about asking for service in a way that advances the seeker's spiritual evolution.
Those of Q'uo address the societal roots of authoritarianism in the individual's repression of ugly or unwanted parts of the individual into their unconscious mind. Most people repress parts of themselves from free expression, building a potential that can be politically and socially released at scale in mass society by certain personalities which magnetically attract these repressed other selves. Releasing this potential sidesteps the necessity of the repressed individual to call sufficiently upon the spirit complex, trapping the repressed individual in the sinkhole of indifference indefinitely. Q'uo ends by discussing the power yielded through polarized engagement with this shadow self and suggests how one might positively accomplish this work.
In this session those of Q'uo discuss the various long-running effects of the veil experienced in third density on the later densities' balancing. Polarization provides much impetus for seeking, but this lopsided desire does eventually require balancing in the higher densities. Q'uo describes the various ways in which wandering back into third density helps the mind/body/spirit complex explore its original choice in more detail. This to-and-fro between lower and higher densities seems to have served to complicate the otherwise smooth path back to the Creator in this octave, shortening third and fourth densities relative to the last octave but lengthening fifth and sixth densities.
What do those of Ra and the Confederation mean by "efficiency" when discussing spiritual evolution? Those of Q'uo tackle this question in light of the protean, "trial and error" nature of evolution, articulating the role the self-aware seeker plays in the total expression of the Creator's nature in this octave. Each octave seems to constitute an experiment in improving the balance between joy and sorrow as two poles in a continuum properly experienced as one follows the upwards spiraling light. This current octave's introduction of the veil between conscious and unconscious mind has improved the motivation to seek through third density polarization, but it has introduced a side effect by increasing the concentration of sorrow in that density, leading to the sinkhole of indifference. Those of sixth density seek to ameliorate this side effect, but their help is often rejected, and they are relegated to merely sharing in this sorrow as they send their love/light.
In this final session from the fourth channeling intensive, Q'uo addresses a variety of perspectives on the meaning and function of that catalyst which does not achieve its desired objective of promoting change and growth, a condition first mentioned by those of Ra[1](#footnote-1). It appears that the confusion of incarnation often leads to a dislocation between the finer balance being sought in such experiences and the comfort that a mind/body/spirit complex naturally tends to seek in third density. The post-incarnative life review in time/space allows for the kind of overview by which incomplete balances may be best engaged, and those of Q'uo briefly answer questions on the random character of catalyst and the malleability of the pre-incarnative plan.
This session deals with the nature of time/space as a reciprocal, alternatively constrained experience to space/time, offering mind/body/spirit complexes a more qualitative realm in which to intensify the focus of their seeking. Q'uo discusses the individual's oscillation through these two realms of experience and how they contribute to one's seeking path, especially with respect to the polarized nature of time/space. There is also some engagement with the nature of time, and those of Q'uo describe the dream experience as an example of those more fluid encounters with phenomena that time/space makes possible. As mind/body/spirit complexes grow more and more into their chosen path of polarity, time/space prepares the entity to make better use of space/time opportunities.
Those of Q'uo describe the life of the will as an entity evolves towards a stronger and more effective energy distribution system otherwise known as a personality. Because will transcends the veil between the conscious and unconscious minds, the very catalyst that challenges us to know ourselves also mobilizes our deeper selves within as blockages are untangled, patterns from past experiences and incarnations crop up, and the personality increasingly draws upon the latent power of our inner architecture. While this power is a fruit of the proper polarization process, it can manifest in strange and unwelcome ways, and we are encouraged to mind our thoughts and intentions carefully in order to serve effectively, accept ourselves, and balance that whole self we channel.
Q'uo here addresses the role of the will in the development of power, polarity, and expression of true character through activation, exploration, and unblocking of the yellow ray energy center. Vibrating more and more in a socially oriented yellow ray manner, one encounters opportunities to form a variety of attitudes towards will's exercise, both by and upon the self. In the blockages and expressions of self this attitude evinces in having one's will constrained or empowered through social structures, will achieves ever redoubled focus through the practice of channeling it through structures of social norms and authorities. One either aspires to worthiness to use this power to serve others as a value or to the power to bring other selves under control, learning in the process something about one's nature otherwise hidden and vital to green ray activation.
This session features those of Q'uo discussing the dynamics of invoking the will, emphasizing intention as a crystallization of desire that gives us a way to relate to that which draws us forward. Along the way we encounter obstacles evincing unrecognized aspects of our desire in our blockages, confusion, and unexamined thoughts, and we wisely avoid the temptation to wrest the self into acceptability by a sheer act of will. Using a lighter, more patient touch will help us delicately work with catalyst on a more manageable basis in order to more gently address our distortions, accept and learn from our missteps, and discipline our conduct as we seek the love in each moment.
In this session those of Q'uo discuss the breadth of concerns and implications resulting from attempts at magical practice on the service-to-others path. With no shortage of cautionary admonitions, several elements of disciplined study and self-inquiry are explicated briefly, including the role of the energy centers, the choice of polarity, the archetypal mind, and the shadow self. The well grounded access of the higher self then plays a pivotal part in the positive adept's transmutation of the negative energies at work in many conditions we might seek to affect through magical working. However, Q'uo continually remind us that this work demands immense levels of preparation and focus not required for third density polarization, and we can safely effect good through more modest forms of service.
In this session, those of Q'uo examine the relationship and distinctions between desire and will within third density. They describe desire as a random, indistinct, and chaotic energy drawing the entity towards the upward spiralling light in an unclear and mysterious fashion. The activiation of the spirit complex introduces the mind/body/spirit complex to the possibility of self-consciously ordering this energy of desire towards more articulated ends through the faculty of will. Because of the operation of the veil clouding the true nature of these energies, will increasingly coheres into a choice of polarity that can work intelligently and creatively with desire's upward draw towards unity and co-creatorship. Q'uo hints that we take a key step towards social memory in fourth density as we recognize the patterns inherent in the integration of desire and will within ourselves and our other selves.
Ever the ones to disclaim authority, Q'uo provide in this session their best effort at articulating the proper balance between respecting free will and exercising power over others on the service-to-others path. They paint an evolutionary portrait of the role of stewardship that incrementally assembles a complex and precarious web of cultural responsibilities, societal norms, psychological repressions, and codical strictures adhering to its rightful exercise, none of which much limits the potential for abuse, distortion, confusion, or unintended side effects. The one saving grace of the positive steward seems to lie in the guidance discovered within, involving a continual reckoning with one's own blockages and desires that unearths a hard-won humility found in the balancing of the self and the experience of authority enacted both by and upon the self. The goal of all stewardship is to free other selves, achieving the harmony that allows for full expression of mind/body/spirit complexes without need for outer governance; yet a reliable recipe to effect this harmony appears to evade those of Q'uo.
Here those of Q'uo explore one of the key underlying qualities of evolution: the continuity of identity represented by the faculty of memory. In order to encapsulate Its project of self-understanding through a series of introspective, projective, and reflexive expressions, the individual unit of the Creator accrues the complexes of body, mind, and spirit. At each successive density, this process refines and expands the nature of memory from a merely material affair to an increasingly abstract and noumenal phenomenon as the transforming self is continually reproduced. Ultimately, a kind of cosmic memory spanning octaves relies upon the individual mind/body/spirit complex, as each entity serves as a fixed reference point against which the Creator may evaluate its octaval thought experiments. In relating this, Q'uo offers a new argument for the value and dignity of each individual, both as an irreplaceable agent of the Creator's eternal self-inquiry and as a site for registering and retaining the fruits of Its distilled learning.
In this session, those of Q'uo provide observations on the manner in which the will is specifically involved in the polarization process, shedding light on how the service-to-self entity exercises this faculty relative to the service-to-others entity. As a structuring and motivating force for the deep mind in third density, will serves to refine the personality through basic responses of acceptance and rejection towards desires from within and catalyst from seemingly without. While neither response is completely abandoned on either polarity, one response will tend to typify the direction of one's path, strengthening an energetic pattern for how one relates to other selves and the world. Given its role in maintaining a cohesive and secure personality in our lives, Q’uo explores several attitudinal, philosophical, and strategic factors impacting how a mind/body/spirit complex employs will to work with lessons and polarize towards harvestability.
In the final session of the fifth intensive, those of Q'uo expand upon the topic of memory from the last session with an emphasis on the existence, nature, and meaning of the "truth." Here too, will plays a role in the dyadic activity of remembrance, coupling subject to a limited perspective on an event. Given the veil of forgetting, Q'uo endorses no external standard by which veracity can be reliably and objectively teased out from the confusion of siloed and contradictory memories.
The achievement of a planetary social memory complex in fourth density will provide all with common access to all individual memories, and in this event lies the fruition of memory: the possibility of a commonly triangulated and authoritative truth across perspectives and distortions. Until then, one must humbly account for the role one's confusion, hurt, and limitations under the veil perennially play in the accuracy of one's recollection and one's truth.
The Q’uo principle addresses the Other Selves Working Group at their 2024 gathering on the complicated subject of desire and how it is refined in the midst of spiritual seeking. As both a force shaping us and being shaped by our continually discovered biases, we learn to work with the great variety of desires, both in how they relate to each other and how they might be expressed and integrated. Because these desires tend to dip below consciousness, Q’uo reminds us of the veil’s purpose in stimulating polarization in third density, forming the basis for a kind of organization of desires that allow us to pursue our chosen pole. Even frustrated desire can be very instructive to a mind/body/spirit complex’s larger evolution, especially when it comes to reconciling our polarized choice with the constellation of desires the seeker continually discovers within its complex.
In this final session from the Working Group’s 2024 gathering, those of Q’uo address concerns around the setting of intention. They begin by counseling the seeker to tidy their mind and heart, recognizing that one cannot eliminate all impediments to transformation. On the service-to-others path we set our best intentions by seeking their alignment with the Creator’s will. By using a lighter touch in effecting our own will, we make space for our intentions to keep pace with phenomenal opportunities and deepen with reflection. Follow up questions are offered with respect to lessening Earth’s suffering and intentionally programming dreams.
After over two years, the principle of Q’uo revisits the Richmond circle to discuss the nature of seeking as it straddles the present moment and the eternal. Whether plodding along in the tedious moments of life or being swept along in a current of purpose and meaning, consciousness evinces a kind of traction that we both crave as an alternative to the groundlessness of infinity and loathe for its tethering of us to our catalyst. With traction we have an anchored point from which we can project into the illusion outside ourselves through action as well as that within ourselves through meditation. Those of Q’uo offer remarks on how we may use the illusion of separation to piece together an approach to the present moment that can also feel part of a greater evolutionary progression. Questions about shame and self-forgiveness in the context of these dynamics are also considered towards the end of the session.
In this session, the principle of Q'uo explores the nuanced relationship between desire and catalyst, suggesting that desire extends beyond the individual to encompass one's collective identities and groups. The selective nature of desire combines with the occluded nature of catalyst to deliver its internal conflicts, culminating in the sacrifice that releases and transforms the desire. Delving into the overlap between this idea and the catalyst stations of the tarot, Q'uo calls out a few of the broader qualities of each archetype, noting the reflective nature of body and the intensifying overtones of spirit. They conclude with a challenge to individual responsibility for desire and its attendant catalyst, hinting at the wisdom of pursuing a deeper appreciation for these two features of the seeker's journey.
In this exploration of the mind's intricate dance between intellect and intuition, those of the principle of Q'uo invite us to consider the delicate interplay of these facets of consciousness when we make a study of the archetypal mind. Having sketched out the functions and value in the seeking process that these two faculties defined by the veil exhibit, Q'uo draws in the interaction of the matrix and the potentiator as foundational patterns of energy flow in manifestation. However, the pattern described cannot banish the primacy of mystery in seeking, and we are cautioned to balance intellectual approaches and intuition when we study the archetypal mind, abiding with that which our consciously available mental tools cannot explain to our immediate satisfaction.
In this session, Q'uo explores the archetypal stations of catalyst and experience as they are encountered in daily life, emphasizing a model of projection and reflection that imbues waking life with the veiled messages of the deep mind. Addressing these two stations of the tarot across mind, body, and spirit, their commentary largely centers on how to profitably think about the operation of catalysis and recognize the signs of its grounding, balancing, and integration. Q'uo then follows up on their monologue to address this subject in light of working with dreams and the possibility of catalyst becoming diminished or less obnoxious, in both cases suggesting attitudes with which the mind/body/spirit complex's extant approaches and processes may be cooperated with more deeply.
Q'uo focuses here on those archetypes of Matrix, Potentiator, and Significator as they relate to work within the spirit complex. Dwelling upon the intense nature of seeking in this domain, they emphasize the importance of polarity and the need for the seeker to have firmly established their orientation towards service-to-others or service-to-self before venturing into the work of Spirit. After discussing the functional and affective aspects of the three stations of the Spirit cycle of archetypes, those of Q'uo affirm both the difficulty of the work in spirit and the profound joy and reward it offers to those who persevere. Before concluding, they entertain questions stemming from the abjectly daunting nature of the spirit complex Q'uo has described.
In this discourse on the significator of body archetype, Q'uo examines the delicate balance involved in both responsibly caring for the body while pushing it beyond its comfort zone in search of spiritual growth. They present the body as a crucible for change whose value arises from its impermanence, a more fixed and temporally bounded quality when contrasted with the natures of mind and spirit. They liken life's challenges to a relentless Wheel of Fortune, where the body experiences and absorbs various catalysts. Drawing an analogy to homeopathy, Q'uo suggests that healing can come from small doses of what might otherwise harm, indicating that challenges often contain their own remedies. By reflecting on and integrating these experiences, one can learn and grow, embodying the enchantress who calmly directs the lion. Q'uo advocates for gratitude towards the body and life's catalysts, as they are essential for progress and enriching the soul's journey back to the Creator.
